Birds

On July 18th, the kids were outside swinging and looked up on this power pole behind the house and there was this huge bird of prey.  I'm guessing it was a falcon, but I"m so not a bird expert.  We kept watching it for like an hour waiting for it to fly so we could see it's wing span, and when we finally quite watching it every second, it was gone so none of us saw it fly.
There were these pesky little birds that kept dive bombing it.  They would actually hit it and it would still just sit there like nothing had happened.
That morning we also had a mocking bird that was constantly flying around.   Come to  find out they had built a nest in our grape harbor and that was why they were there all the time.
We weren't the only ones that noticed the birds.  Pete was trying to get them also.  The bird is on top of the lilac bush.
