Roasting Dogs

Last week Brooke borrowed a friends wood splitter to split all of our HUGE wood.  When he was finished splitting, he and I stacked the wood and then raked all the bark into a huge pile.  I told Brooke we were going to roast hot dogs on the fire, so we started burning all of our bark.  It was way to hot, even after an hour of burning.  The kids couldn't handle the heat.  Poor Sam had his face buried in the dirt, and this was on the small pile of coals Brooke pulled out from the big pile.
Spencer used a shield for a little while, and then Brooke took over.  Brooke had his sleeve over the roaster it was so hot.

The wood shed Brooke and cleaned up and got our wood stacked in.  It looks so nice and clean.
