Hiking

We decided to go hiking the other day, even though it was freezing. Brooke had heard of this cool spot to go, so we loaded up in the car and went for a hike.  It didn't last very long, but we found this cool pinnacle.

Brooke started gathering juniper berries a long time ago and would throw them at the kids, and then tell them the sky was falling.  It is now a joke everyone pulls on each other.  Shianne got into picking the berries this time, and trying to hit her brothers.
Sam and Spencer are such boys, and they make me nervous.  They loved pushing rocks and dirt off of this ledge.  Luckily it wasn't as steep as it looks, but it still made me nervous.

It got so cold Shianne started complaining, so Brooke turned it into a game to get back to the car.  They all started racing.
Solayna kept saying, "freezy, cold mom"  It was only about a 15 minute hike, but we enjoyed being out in the brisk air, seeing God's creations.
