On November 7th, we woke up to about 5 inches of gorgeous wet snow. The kids were so excited. They got ready for school early, without me having to keep asking them to do things. It was amazing. As soon as they got home from school, they threw on their snowclothes and were out building a snowman. Poor Shi had dance, so she only played for about 10 minutes, but the boys enjoyed it and with the help of Brooke made a HUGE snowman.
Solayna loved playing outside, but as she was coming in the house, she slipped on the step and fell and hit her chin super hard on the sidewalk. I took her down to the clinic, but we missed the Dr. by 10 minutes. The nurse said she thought it needed to be stitched, but we could sterie strip it. We decided that we would sterie strip it and see what it did, since we didn't want to drive an hour and 15 minutes to get it stitched. The next morning I took her to another nurse and the nurse said she didn't think they would stitch it, since it had come together so good with the tape. It looks decent now, but it would have been better if Solayna wouldn't have picked the scab off a couple of times. The silly, tough girl.
