Dance Hall Rock the backside

 

We stopped by Dance hall rock and played around for a little while, and then went to theback side of it.  It was amazing to go back behind it and see all the rocks and the holes that were back there

 This tree was growing in the middle of all this sandstone.  The hole was forever down there and then there was soil so it could grow.  The holes were just in the middle of these rocks and you couldn't really see them till you were right on them so it made me nervous having our kids up there.

 

You can see my shadow holding the camera out to get a picture of this one.  It made me nervous just taking the picture.  Brooke even told me to get back, it was so far down there.  This is right above 'dance hall'

 The kids found this awesome path that water has cut through the sand stone and they followed it for quite a while.  It was really wide in some spots like this one.

We love going down to the desert and just thinking about these amazing pioneers that went through the whole in the rock is and incredible experiance.  We always have so much fun out exploring.
